The power amplifiers operate with a conventional toroidal transformer power supply. The circuitry is completely balanced with a feedback of only 20 dB, resulting in a very fast power amplifier with only slight distortion. In particular, the rough, unpleasant sound associated with TIM distortion is suppressed. The amplifier has a Class H design, which means that the operating voltage changes depending on the signal level. This improves efficiency, considerably reducing the amount of heat generated by the amplifier. Superfast, high-performance bipolar transistors are used for the power amplifier. They are rated for three times the maximum power dissipation of the amplifier, thus providing an enormous safety factor. Short-circuit protection is herefore not required until there is a load of less than 2? and a phase shift of 45 degrees due to reactive load. he power amplifier naturally features all of the other standard protection circuits, including a clip limiter.

The new flagship of the LD systems amplifier series is called the PA1600X. In an attempt to fulfil the wishes of our customers, we have extended the LD range to include a more powerful amplifier that can  also be used with a 2 Ohm output. The important features are: 2x 1500W in 2 Ohm, 2 x 1100W in 4 Ohm and 2 x 700W in 8 Ohm. Like the smaller models, the PA1600 uses a class H configuration with bi-polar transistors and a conventional power supply. The circuit protection is identical to the PA1000.  The cooling fan is also temperature controlled in two stages. Special features include a low-cut filter and a switchable lo-pass filter adjustable up to 1200 Hz, so that the amplifier can be used as a sub-bass driver without the necessity of a separate crossover.

The LX 6-150 is a power amp from the series of multi-channel LD power amplifiers. Six 150-Watt blocks with proven, reliable MOSFET technology are integrated in a 19" housing, 2 units high. Thanks to the layout of the screw terminal connections, generally referred to as "Phoenix terminals", and a separate volume control for each channel, this power amplifier is ideal for the installation sector and a perfect solution for cafes, restaurants and fashion shops. The amplifier cooling system features a fan with continuous, intelligent fan speed control, depending on the temperature. Fan speeds are low at low temperatures, and rise with increasing heat emissions. The direction of the air flow is from the front to the back.

The SP-1800 is a professional two-channel power amps with class-H technology and a newly developed switched power supply. The decisive advantage of the new switched power supply is that it replicates the energy storage provided by conventional transformer/rectifier/electrolytic capacitor power supply units. This has been achieved by sophisticated control electronics, combined with very large storage electrolytic capacitors on both the primary and secondary side of the power supply. The power amp thus have unrestricted applicability even in the bass range, which was previously the domain of classical power amplifiers. It goes without saying that the power amp also feature modern protective circuits. All operating states are indicated by LEDs on the front panel. The SP 1800 permit operation in bridged mode as well as oeration with loads of 2 ohms.
